Medicine in Italy then F1 doctor in UK?

Unfortunately even with a 2800+ UCAT and A*A*A* at A-Level I still can't seem to get into med school in the UK. After researching other opportunities I came across Italian med schools and will likely apply there. Before I do though, I have some unanswered questions:

If I were to study in Italy (a 6 year course with a MD when graduating) would I be able to come back to the UK and start as a F1 doctor? (I have looked at the GMC and it does look like it though some sources say that you need to complete a 1 year internship after the 6 year degree then apply for F1??)

Has anyone here studied in Italy (preferably La Sapienza) and can give me an honest review of the quality of education?

Thank you to anyone who can help
any thoughts?
