Cambridge interview for MPhil in population health sciences

For any future applicants, here is the timeline of my application for admission in 2023 for this MPhil:

Applied: 1 Dec (2022)
Invited to interview: 10 Jan
Interview: 17 Jan
Moved to Degree Committee: 1 Feb (this is when I checked and saw but I wasn't checking every day so it could have been a couple of days earlier)
Moved to PAO: 3 Feb
Offer: 15 Feb
College Acceptance: 18 Feb (as seen in self-service portal, no communications from college yet)

Well done! I also was interviewed on 17th Jan and moved to PAO 3rd Feb for this MPhil, but haven't heard anything since then. Out of curiosity, where in the world are you based? I'm wondering if it's taking extra long since I'm international.

Australasia - I have also finished my bachelor's (different academic years) so they had my final results already. I know people from my (undergrad) university have been accepted to this course before.

hmm I’m in Australasia too and finished my bachelor’s in 2021! I guess there’s just variations in the system 😅

Hi, can I ask which stream did you apply? I have applied to the health data science stream and heard that the interview was quite hard as they may ask something technical about your CV.

Hi, I have applied for the HDS stream this year and have an interview upcoming. Can I ask how hard your interview was? Did they ask technical questions about your CV?

I submitted my application on december 5th and was invited for the interview on december 22nd!

Good luck to you with your interview. Are you perhaps an international student? It seems that some rejections have already been sent out, and some early invites (makes me think this is for those eligible for departmental funding/Cambridge college funding which is mostly international if I'm not mistaken?) and possibly the next batch of invites would be for candidates not considered for departmental funding.
