advanced highers

has anyone crashed an advanced higher? if so how did it go for you?

I think that would be quite a bad idea, advanced highers really build on knowledge from higher. They are not easy qualifications, yeah some people can breeze through and barely revise, but they already have the base knowledge from higher to do that.
Do what you want, but don't be surprised if you spend your evenings crying lol.
Even mechanics, a subject only offered at advanced higher, there is a lot of knowledge from higher maths and physics (and even advanced higher maths/physics but it just means you double up).
My brother crashed AH RMPS (didn’t even have Nat 5) and got an A grade. It’s certainly possible.
I have a couple friends who crashed subjects like classics and RMPS at AH level, they seem to be doing fine this year. however I wouldn't really recommend it for anything else, particularly not facilitating subjects like STEM areas, English, history, or languages, as these all require a lot of skills to be learnt in previous years and build on existing knowledge and foundations at AH level.
