ocr a level chemistry

what percentage do you need for a B in chemistry, can anyone give me a rough estimate based on papers that have happened in. the past
In 2019, a B was at 59.63%, and in 2021 a B was 51.48%. For the 2022 exams, it’s been said that our grade boundaries will be set in between that of 2019 and 2021. Hope this helps!

This can vary and depend on the exam board but as an indicator for OCR A Chemistry in 2019 it was roughly around an overall 70% for a B and in 2018, 62% , with all three papers combined!

70% for a B sounds wrong

Yeah around there. I’ve been marking myself using the 2019 grade boundaries, because I know that’s the lowest they’ll be. But yeah probably around about 55%, given what they’ve said!

think an A is potentially going to be high 60s, so 67% / 68% / 69% area
