It worked on me... I was all ready to respond telling you I actually got into UCL but decided that I didn't want to live in Central London and that RHUL's research rating for my chosen subject is the same as UCL's, haha.
Touché for getting me riled up!

Lulu-Lexi - I understand why you'd want to ask this kind of question. You're gonna be living in a whole new community, with different people to the ones you're used to, and of course a bit of romance wouldn't be unappreciated. :P
But the things you are saying in this thread are really inappropriate, especially considering that you say you are going to RHUL in September. This kind of attitude isn't going to make you any friends! Of course being surrounded by attractive people is a bonus, but it's unlikely. Students are normally pretty grubby compared to their peers (mostly due to operating on a lower budget, eating unhealthy food, and getting little sleep) so I think it's safe to assume you won't be living alongside Hollywood actors and calendar boys.
I HAVE been to RHUL twice now, and the guys there seem about average - as in, there are a few hotties, a fair few notties, and lots of normal-looking, ordinary people whose looks could be rivalled anywhere. Not to mention, it isn't hard to leave the campus and look elsewhere - if not in Egham then in any of the surrounding towns, especially London, which is easily accessible by train.
It isn't geeky to worry about things like finance and accommodation, considering that if you don't have these sorted you are, basically, screwed. I was honestly more worried about securing my student loan than how hot the males are.
Just be careful how you phrase things. I don't doubt your intelligence at all, but this thread is making you look, well, vapid and nasty.
