Astronomer

One of the things that I’m thinking about being when I’m older is an astronomer. I’m in Y10 and I don’t do higher combined science or triple science and I don’t do higher or extra maths. What do I need to do if I want to be an astronomer ?

It would be hard to do well in A-level maths, further maths and physics without doing GCSE science and higher maths.

Would I still be able to do A-level maths, further maths and physics ?

Depends on the school but most schools require you to get a high grade in GCSE maths to take A-level maths or further maths. Are there any particular reasons to why you don't do GCSE science and higher maths?
