Feel like 3 modules a term is too much

I can't do well equally in all of them in just one term

Currently have 3 essays to write, all due on the same day.
Everyone is in the same boat, doing three modules in a semester is the norm - or a variant of that.

For UG you will need to complete 120 credits in a year. This is made up of 15 or 20 or 30 credit modules so by the law of averages you will have at least three modules a semester. Get used to it.
You don't have to write all your essays on the same day just because they are due on the same day.

If you really can't cope with a normal full time workload, part time options may be available. Of course, it will then take you much longer to complete the course. It's a choice.

It is poor time management and nothing else. You can take steps to improve this.

Can you ask for an extension? also if a lot of people on the module also have deadlines close together, the lecturer can sometimes be more flexible with the deadline if they don't know about the other deadlines (depending how many people contact them about it).
At my uni you can also.have 1 extension for the year you can use if you're overwhelmed and you don't have to submit evidence for mitigating circumstances (even though you still have to fill out a form).
Hi, it can feel overwhelming when there are three essays to write all at the same time, and while it is hard work, if you put in a plan and stick to it, then you can do your best on all three essays. I agree with Chronoscope, you should request extensions on all of your essays, the extra time you receive will really help you.

What you can do is as soon as you wake up just start writing or researching, do this for an hour or two, have a break, get some breakfast then start again. Try to work in segments of 1-2 hours, that way you will be able to do more in your day than if say you did 4 hours straight and then were too tired to do any more for the rest of the day. You could do this in a couple different ways: you could dedicate one day each to each different assignment on a rotation; you could assign a whole week to one assignment, the next week to another etc; you could spilt them up into morning, afternoon and night; or you could do them through sections, and what I mean by this is you could plan out the general structure of each assignment (intro, main body, conclusion etc) and then you could move through these sections, so you would do your introduction on all three assignments and then move on to the next part, if it's your main body then you could choose to write one point and a counterpoint and then move on to the next essay and do the same. So, you do have a lot of options, you just need to be willing to put in the work and find your motivation

Try and have your assignments finished on different days though, it's stressful enough submitting one assignment on the day, so try and submit on different days if you can, and remember to leave yourself a couple days for checking references, meeting the word count, and just reading through your essay to make tweaks and make sure you're happy with it.

You could also get yourself to the university library. Other people working can motivate you to work and being in this environment can help you concentrate. Just remember to stay hydrated, to eat properly, and take lots of little breaks and make time for self care.

I hope this helps.

Yes it can feel very stressful to cover content and work towards deadlines at the same time. What I think may help is if you create a to do list for each day and set aside time each day whether its in afternoon or evening to complete the tasks.

I am a 1st year student doing computer science and in semester 1, I had 6 modules to complete, this semester I only have 5 of which only 2 are exam based modules and the others are coursework based.

Most of the coursework is due in May so now it gonna get quite busy for me especially during Easter break as I plan on doing revision for my semester 2 exams which are in mid/late May

Normally you're given your essay titles well in advance. Your lecturers all know you will have multiple assignments due for the same date, and you aren't the only one - everyone is in the same position, and some classmates probably have more assignments to do in the same amount of time. You're now an adult and need to start learning how to prioritise and organise your time well. Don't leave it all up to the last minute. If you're only doing three modules now, how will you manage next term or in later years? Draw up a study plan, cut down on anything which isn't essential, and focus on what you need to do to meet your deadlines. If it means not being able to socialise or play games as much as before, then so be it. It's a little bit of suffering for a few weeks for something you are paying thousands of pounds for. If you think uni is tough, how are you going to manage once you graduate? It doesn't necessarily mean research/writing non-stop until the deadline. Small progress everyday will build up and you'll eventually get it done. But it's ultimately down to how you choose to plan and spend your time.
