unattractive gf

im going out with this girl who i'l admit is certainly not the typical fanciable girl (i know im not all that myself before u call me arragant lol) shes quite large with really pale skin and ginger scruffy hair but her personality is so nice

i just love her personality but my mates say shes mingin and distusting cause shes got severe acne and quite greasy hair etc and are laughin but i don't care.

We went in asda yesterday and i noticed people staring at her probably because of her size but depite her cool personality im beggining to agree with my mates and really arn't looking forward to erm 'getting closer to her lol' i hate sounding nasty and shallow but her rating would be about 1 out of 10 and i know its not her fault. :frown:

Maybe she needs a more decent guy than me who doesn't care about appearance AT ALL but honestly no other guys that i know will go out with her (even the generous guys)! she has a great personality. i hesitated a lot before saying yes (her friend asked me for her)

can anyone give me any advice what can i do or say. Am i in the wrong? shes 19 like me and im her first bf. :confused:

Well, if you are put off of getting closer/intimate with her then I don't think it will work; maybe your feelings will change; do you want to wait and see?
Try not to hurt her feelings please, and do what you want and not as your friends say :wink:

If you like her then forget what your friend's say about it. If they're true friends they'll accept it and not mock you.

I know people that have great personalities yet aren't the best aesthetically looking people; but still have no problems.

If you weren't 100% sure to begin with you shouldn't have said yes. I know... its difficult to know at the time but you should know what you like. If you're her first bf shes bound to be over the moon with this :frown:

but I think the only logical option for you and your personal preferences is to call it a day at a suitable point. You're going to have to hurt her I'm afraid whether it's now or even worse... later. If you don't love her to bits in every way, shes not the one for you. No easy way round this one :frown:

You shouldn't stay with/Go out with the girl out of Pitty that would be horrible. If you like her personality then give her a chance, then if it doesn't work out then tell her "it's just not working out" :smile:

I think you're right. If she is having trouble getting bfs then dumping her could wreck her life. If she has a nice personality then isn't that enough? I would rather go out with a girl with a good personality than one which a perfect body buty is a robot.

hmm thanks i don't have a photo of her sorry we only got together a few days ago, i'l post one if i get one, im 100% sure none of you will say shes attractive unless your taking the mick.
i will do what i want i don't take advice from my mates lol if you knew them you'd know why! Her appearance is gradually making me like her personality less! Shes been bullied loads of times in the past but her low confidence doesn't seem to stop her from asking guys out :confused:
