hypothesis testing

A survey of weather in a tropical region is undertaken and the data analysed. The product
moment correlation coefficient between the daily mean temperature and the daily rainfall
is calculated as 0.267 with a p-value of 0.035. Stating your hypotheses clearly, use a
2.5% significance level to test whether or not there is evidence of a positive correlation
between the daily mean temperature and the daily rainfall in the region. [4]
Have you thought about the question at all? What is your current working out, hypotheses, etc?
