Edexcel politics 30 mark question

Hi all, I’m just after some advice on how many words long a 30 mark Edexcel politics question should be as I currently always take about 55 minutes and write 1200 words However I need to reduce this time by at least 10 minutes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well the exam is two hours long and you have 84 marks to cover so that should come to around 0.7 marks a minute so you should really aim to spend at least 42-45 minutes on each 30 mark question. As for the word count, the most important thing is to be concise and cover the content required instead of writing long winded answers so I would aim for the maximum 800-850 words. A reasonable amount for 45 minutes of writing :smile:
