is anyone else like this?

like if anyone starts paying you a bit of attention, you tend to get a bit attached to them? i dunno but recently this guy has started being so so nice to me and making sure am ok. am quite shy but since he started talking to me and asking if am alright, i cant get him out of my head. i dont fancy him but he is good looking. i cant explain why am getting like this- its always been the case for me but i dont get why :s-smilie:

That's how it starts....then after obsessing about them for a couple of weeks I sort of accept the fact that I actually fancy them.

When my friend broke up with his first girlfriend he was really upset... and let's face it.. he was on the rebound! BIG TIME!

I was nice to him. I didn't think I was being OVERLY nice. I was just supporting him and being friendly because he'd lost a few friends due to rumors she'd spread about him.

After a while he decided to 'like' me ¬_¬ (god knows why) and kinda became like how you're describing it now.

What I'm trying to say is, look at it from his point of view. He's maybe just being nice and friendly, and even though nothing bad may be going on in your life, he might just be supporting you and being a friend. He might not fancy you.

OH! and no, I don't get attached to people as easily as I did years ago. I've found that since I've been with my boyfriend, who I see every day, i always want a bit of 'me time' even if it's just doing some work. I've become more independent and don't 'cling' to friends as much as I use to :smile:

Im kind of the same. Although I only really get like that after a long period of time.. Like with me and my boyfriend at first he was the one who got more attached and did the chasing and stuff whereas now I'm much more attached than he is :frown:

Think its just to do with the attention you get and wanting more haha.x

I've deffinitly been there before- I remember last year when a guy begun giving me lots of attention; i didn't fancy him to start but I did begin to like him after a while. I think its natural, i don't think many girls would deny that that have been there at least once before- we love the attention; it can't be helped lol
