I was going to say... the majority of people on here are at university or studying towards it, and therefore quite unlikely to be proper chavs.

3. GET OVER THE WHOLE CHAV THING EVERYONE. Its sooooooo 2004.
Heh.. true..

My school put on Romeo and Juliet last year.. we did it in a Barries (Chav's) versus Skaters theme. I had to wear gleaming white trainers, tracky bottoms and tight fitting tops... I still got a damn cool balcony to swoon on though  (Erm, I was still called Juliet though, and Romeo was called Romeo.. we didn't rename him Ned or anything )

Which was Romeo's gang? Chavs or skaters?

I'm not a chav, but I guess the ignorant could mistake my old-school adidas top for a piece of 'chavwear', when it's actually quite hip-hop, I guess.

But the people who know are the opinions I value more!

I don't think skaters wear gleaming white trainers, tracky bottoms and tight fitting tops...

Yes but that was juliette, which by my reckoning should make Romeo a Skater (forbidden secret love, etc.)

This obsession with chav culture is starting to become more irritating than chav culture itself. In fact it probably is more irritating. Maybe I should do a poll...

I am not a chav, walking down Market Street in Manchester makes me physicaly sick with all the sports shops with 12 year olds wearing £500 worth of clothes and bouncers on the doors.

I am not posh either.
