The electron microscope uses collimated electrons as a beam, this beam is fixed by magnetic fields around the microscope. Thanks to the higher frequency of electrons (they have electromagnetic waves!), this microscope has a higher resolution compared to a light microscope. That means the seen pictures have a higher visibility.
