Student Finance confusing questions
What does 'living with your parents' mean? I'm finishing first year, living in accommodation, and in August I'll be moving into a house which I'm renting with some friends. However, I'm only 19, have lived with my parents all my life, and I'll be living with them over the summer again until I can move into the house. So for 2022/2023 student finance does this count as 'living on my own' or will the government still see it as 'living with parents' as I am still reliant on them?
It means if you will be living with your parents whilst you are studying/term time. Holidays don't count - everyone goes home for holiday and uni isn't on during holidays. In your case you'd be living away from home.
