Sheffield accommodation advice

I have just reserved a en-suite in Froggart, Endcliffe. I am in E block so its at the end of the accommodation and on the fourth floor. It is also same-sex and a flat of 6 because that is what was available?

I was wondering what the social life will be like and if its better to be in the centre of accommodation or in a mixed flat?

Hi there!

I'm a current student at Uni of Sheffield and stayed in student accommodation for my 1st year. I stayed in Ranmoor (right next to Endcliffe) but had quite a few friends in Endcliffe and went round there for parties/socials. Endcliffe is probably what most would class the most social student village, there's always something going on there and it has the most freshers and is the biggest of the student halls. Froggart is also known as a pretty good block to be in for socialising! I personally stayed in a flat of 6 in Ranmoor and I quite liked having less people in the flat (helps keep it a bit tidier ahah) but I had some friends in flats of 10 who loved that too so I think it depends on your personality really. Same goes for same sex accommodation, it would depend on what you would prefer and whats available as well. Overall Endcliffe has a really good social life so I don't think you will have any struggles in the accommodation you currently have. A lot of people from different flats in the blocks meet up too and socialise so you can meet more people in your block in freshers too!

Hope this helps, feel free to ask anymore questions
