Hi all,


I'm starting a Risk grad scheme next month at a BB (UBS/DB), London office.


However, I would very much like to lateral to GS/MS/JPM within Risk or even WM (as I have a previous WM internship). Or even lateral to Tier 2 consulting firms: Strategy&/EY-P,Accenture etc.


Would it be frowned on to apply for these grad schemes in the upcoming cycle when I am just starting a new grad scheme. I'm really not sure what's the process to lateral to these divisions in other banks, is it better to work 1 year and apply when openings are posted on Linkedin?


Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

Genuinely trying to understand, why don't people make their own spreadsheet?

I have my own that took me an hour to make that I update every now and then, not trying to be a **** but maybe just do it yourself?

Does anyone know of any banks/boutiques offering investment banking summer analyst/off cycle analyst positions in London for August 2023?

I know gleacher shacklock has an August intake. How do you see my chances:
- Good German university BSc finance
- 5 months audit internship at a Big Four
- 3 months transaction advisory services internship at a Big Four

They only take in around 2 interns for the summer, so it is extremely competitive. If you do well with the cover questions, you should land a first round interview, from then it depends on how well you know your technicals and how you come across in an interview
