2nd year housing... watch

    (Original post by Chicken)
I felt like that - I got on with people from halls for the first semester, while everything was still new and exciting, but in the second semester I started going out and socialising more with people on my course, who I clicked much better with, however a good half of them live at home, and most of the others live in Suffolk, which is no more than 20mins-1/2 hour away, and quite often go home at weekends. I ended up living with my hall mates and really regret it, but I go away for a year abroad next year, and when I come back they will have graduated so I'll probably end up living with better friends then. A guy I know moved in with some random people who were advertising a room, and he's so glad he did it because they get on brilliantly, so he doesn't feel too isolated at all.
Yeah. Theres a group of people who I was gonna move in with next year, but the house we were gonna move into (which is owned by one of their parents) doesnt have enough room for all of us, so I opted out.

Nice to know someone who moved in with strangers had a happy ending, makes my prospects seem a little less bleak. Also, I'm hoping to go away in the third year too, so I'm not too bothered.

Thnx. Makes me feel a little less on my own!!!!

I'm going back into halls. I'll be in the first year of a five year course next year, so i get to be a fresher again . After that year i'm moving in with my boyfriend.

I'm moving in with 3 of my flat mates next year, we all get on amazingly well and I couldn't imagine not living with them next year!
Brexit: Given the chance now, would you vote leave or remain?
