What disgusts you. Well personally I am disgusted by...
*Underage sex- ewww minging! Seriously what is attractive about 15 year olds, the guys are short, greasy and skinny and the girls well pretty much the same- i mean come on how long have you been wearing a bra for?

*people who dont speak properly. I dont mean people that dont speak like the queen. I mean chavvy language. So nasty and vulgur. 'innit' 'mad fer it'

a lot of 15 years olds don't look like that... and suddenly it's ok at 16?

and chavvy language... i guess you just have to get used to it in Dundee :p:

I echo your sentiments on both issues.

I dispise slang, it is the biggest insult to the English language.

Depends which ones. There are some great 15 year-old girls, naming no names.

Do I therefore assume that your usage of "ewww minging!" in the previous paragraph was entirely ironic?

I agree with 2 + 2 (who obviously never passed Year 1 Maths)

You should have said something like "oh how delightfully uncouth" instead of ewwww mingin!

ah welll....I must confess to seeing a VERY attractive 15 year old recently who looked about 21...not a spot in sight.
and as for slang...I have no problem unless:
* Middle classes speaking mockney..oh the shame
* White boys speaking Crackney slang...

Ah, but GCSE English Literature was a cakewalk (also, yes, Radiohead reference).

Actually, with regards to chavvy language: I can get very annoyed with people who just choose not to punctuate their sentences properly. I would point out the many grammatical errors in Ann's polemic, if only I could be bothered right now. I'm too tired for that much irony.

I agree with both statements. People need to learn to respect themselves as well as the English language.

Aww, you know we all love you really.

Maybe not as much as certain 15 year-olds, but never mind.
