has anyone else found the 2019 paper 3 particularly difficult?
Does anyone have any video recommendations or questions for NMR cuz I'm struggling with that

I haven't completed it yet but when I do I'll let you know

For watching a video for NMR, I'd recommend Allery Chemistry. For questions you could do them from PMT, or if you go onto the Pearson website and scroll down to Summer 2022 support, you can download topic tests and there is one for Topic 19 so you can practice that way too.

How on earth did you guys learn all the synthesis pathways?
do u have to learn the pathways im just going to just work my way backwards from the compound we needed if that makes sense

It probably would be beneficial to know them but I think the way you've said is actually a good idea imo

What did you get for it? Definitely had some wierd tricky questions towards the end!

Not especially, no. I’d say of the paper 3’s, 2017 struck me as the most difficult. 2019 was my best, even though 2020 was a bit easier.
interesting, i found 2017 much easier than 2019

In all honesty, it could just be that I did the 2017 paper when I was in year 11, so I was a bit worse then than when I did the 2019 paper at the end of year 12.

How much do we need to get in this paper to get a c ?
is anyone able to do organic synthesis pathways without learning the map??

Yes, but that’s purely down to practice with over the years.
