Hi Lynsey,
No worries.
Anyway i changed my mind.
Are the below courses exempt?

1. University: University of Central Lancashire (UCAL)
Course name : BSc (Hons) Neuroscience
attendance : part-time

2.University : University of Bolton
Course name : BSc (Hons) PSYCHOLOGY AND COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE
attendance : part-time

If none of them , is exempt.... please advise which one would be , the area of expertise to be Neuroscience, part-time. Thank you.

Kind regards,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

The UCLAN course would be an exception course, however, the University of Bolton does not show on our system, so you would be best to speak to them regarding that specific course's eligibility for funding.

Thanks, Jen

Hi Adrian,

There is no part-time option on the database we share with the university. This could indicate they haven't updated their database yet and would recommend discussing this with them.

Thanks, Aisha

Hi Adrian,

Yes, this course is showing as an exception, so you'll be entitled to funding regardless of your previous study.

Thanks, Graeme

I am thinking to transfer to another course, from BSc Neuroscience to one of the followings.

Thank you for the reply.
What is the maximum number of credits I can do per year as a part-time student? is it 80 credits?

I am planning to move from year 1 Neuroscience to year 1 Neuropsychology.
I made in the first 1 of Neuroscience 80 credits, and now, if I move to Neuropsychology, I will need to do three mandatory modules - 60 credits, and I will probably take a course from the second year. To make it 80 credits.

My question is, Will SFE be okay in my case to finance me, so I can move to neuropsychology?
I am asking because 80 + 60 = 140; credits for the first year.

Thank you!

Hi Adrian,

We don't take credits into account, just the fees. So, as long as the fees are £6,935 per academic year or less (for a part-time course) then that's fine.

When will this transfer be happening?

Thanks, Graeme
