University of Southampton- chemistry

I have applied to do Chemistry with Medicinal Sciences as I am looking forward to studying a more pharmaceutical-based subject as well as chemistry. However, I didn't study biology at A level. Will this make the learning aspect harder for me with only gcse biology knowledge?

It might be more of an adjustment doing the first year biology modules in the programme but, if they don't require A-level Biology in principle it shouldn't be an issue. Although, since they are core for the various bioscience programmes I imagine most taking them will have done A-level Biology so as noted, some topics which for others are just "revision" you will be learning for the first time there.
