D2 Transportation Degeneracy. Arbitrary solution...
Gaz031 and I have noted that the Heinemann Edexcel text proposes an apparently arbitrary zero allocation in order to solve a degenerate transportation problem.

The conclusion, however, does not provide a way to spot the correct zero allocation other than by trial and error...
Anyone other than the two of us studying Edexcel D2? Anyone else any ideas?
