nottingham accommodation deadline

I've just put Nottingham uni as my firm choice and went to look at accommodation - and there really isn't much left.
Does anyone know if they release more choices at a further date? Because surly they cant say this far in advance that it's fully booked if we don't have our results yet?

There aren't more options to be released. Accommodation applications opened Monday 4th April and Nottingham sorts offers on a first come first served basis which is why you see the most popular options fully booked. Furthermore, current students wishing to remain in Uni accommodation and students who deferred last year could apply from December which has resulted in a lot of popular options being fully booked before this year could even apply.

Nottingham is famous for doing their accommodation on a first come first served basis which is why so much has disappeared so quickly, it will slow down now that the original rush is complete.

In terms of a deadline, the most important thing is their accommodation guarantee.

"We can guarantee you a room in university-arranged accommodation for the first year of your course, provided you apply by our guarantee deadline of Monday 13 June 2022 and accept your accommodation offer promptly when you receive it."

As long as you apply by then you will receive a room in university-arranged accommodation. Obviously the earlier you apply the more influence you will have over what you are given.

In terms of 'they cant say this far in advance that it's fully booked if we don't have our results yet?". They can because not only do many of the people who hold accommodation offers have achieved grades but even if your offer is conditional your room is considered 'booked' and is only freed up if you fail to meet your offer.
