Hi all,
Congrats to everyone on their offers! I noticed on King's Apply, under my offer letter, it mentions that the programme length is 6 years but I thought that an intercalation year was optional. The programme seems correct - it says 'Medicine MBBS (Full-time)', I was wondering whether it said 6 years on everyone else's letters or was it just mine?

it says 6 years on mine too - i read through the curriculum thing they sent too and it says intercalation is an "optional requirement".. so take that oxymoron as you will :')

Mine is like that too, but in the other documents attached it says 5 or 6 with optional intercalation

Do you guys think there will be an in person event? On the offer letter it says we’ll get an invitation and while it didn’t specify whether this was in person, in the next line it specifically said the international one would be online so… maybe?

Kinda sad to see the offer holder event is online but they have an in person open day on june 11th for medicine so that might be worth looking at

Hi, quick question for anybody, do you know if kings accommodation is first come first serve. I am still trying to decide between Kings and Birmingham... but don't want to leave it too long incase only the really expensive or accomodations which aren't near guys campus are gone?

accommodation is released in batches so it's fair, but within the batches it's first come first serve

Hi everyone!!

I’m an international school leaver and I’m planning to firm King’s (just deciding which uni to put down as my insurance). Is my understanding of accommodation booking correct?

1. Firm the offer
2. Wait for a few days so that your details can be registered
3. Register your interest (or can you straight away go to booking?)
4. Wait for an invitation to book
5. Finally book your accommodation

Hope someone can help me answer, I don’t want to get this part of the process wrong

yeah that's right, you register ur interest and then it takes 1-2 weeks for an invitation to book
