hi guys,
i’m with edexcel for a level history and we’re doing britain transformed.
however , im slightly confused. theme 2 (creating a welfare state) says that one of the topics coming up will be “1918-43; the significance of the “Butler Act” 1944, and the development of comprehensive education to 1979”.
i’m confused, the butler act happened in 1944 so why is 1918-43 there ? are we meant to provide context (e.g the fisher act ) ????
