Can't work out how to get the data onto here, but question 3b on this link
https://pmt.physicsandmathstutor.com...osses%20QP.pdf

I don't understand how the data comes about,
- surely the ratio would be 9 : 3 : 3 : 1?

where have these figures come from? Looking at the question surely you can only have 3 phenotypes: black male, black female and tortoiseshell female

No I'm just using the information from 1b and doing a punnet square. I'm assuming its a gene found on the non-homologous part of the sex chromosomes therefore a female can have 2 alleles v.s. a male who can only have 1
