So first 12 weeks of the job you can't take any leave even if its pre planned (I'd suggest getting a start date after the holiday if its within 12 weeks of the start date) anything after that you get put down as pre approved leave

1) when i did it just under a year ago they had 3 pre-generated paragraphs which you had to type out you had 3 attempts (one for each) and the wpm count would be the average of those attempts it was on this site https://www.speedtypingonline.com/typing-test
2) The group exercise is all about how you interact so in my group i was trying to help this person who stated they struggled to read fast as they had dyslexia i offered to read it aloud for her (she denied and said she can do it herself) it's about open communication and team work, it doesn't matter if you don't complete the exercise as long as they can see what was being discussed and how you are communicating and working.
3) vetting depend on certain factors mine took 4 months but most of that was due to me still having contact with my dad to say merry Christmas and happy birthday (thats it) but they still wanted all of his details and all of his new families details (basically a bunch of stuff i didn't know and had to contact him about)
i've had other people in my group say it only took like 3 weeks it all really depends on that kind of stuff

yeah defo if you get a start date that is too early tell them and they'll give you a different date just explain that you have that holiday booked

just be yourself and show that you are confident
it's the basic questions some of which you were asked during the phone interview
why do you want to do the job
whats a time previously where you've had to over come a challenge
etc

Like call you in for the assessment day and then the interview straight away

Yeah they'll offer you a date if you can't do that date just message them and explain and ask if there's one after they're usually spaced out about 6-8 weeks apart
