they usually give you 4 weeks minimum notice of the enrolment.
i know some people that got a start date that was about 6-8 weeks away

Hi I wanted more information from you.
So the exam is after 4 weeks? Is that correct?
And after 4 weeks I go to my assigned centre?
During the 4 weeks at Hendon it’s - mon to fri
And then at the assigned centre it could be any days including weekend?
Thanks

Yes all correct you will have another exam at the 11/12 week mark too where you'll go back to hendon for a day to show what you've learnt whilst at the centre

Sorry no
After the 4 weeks you have your practical and multiple choice tests then after 8 more weeks (12 week mark) you have a final test to show that you've understood the training and are able to take the calls with practically no help needed if you fail this test you get held back on training for a little longer usually
After the 12 weeks you have your graduation to say you've passed and are able to take calls independently

Hello All,
If anyone has tips for the stage after the phone interview for the call handler role with London Met it would be really appreciated. (Hendon Assessment Centre)
So far I have been studying the values of London Met ie: Integrity, Impartiality, Transparency and Public service (Policing’s Competency and Values Framework)
From what I have been made aware there will be “a role play exercise designed to assess your verbal reasoning and communication skills” does anyone have any tips on this?
Also A typing test, any information on the layout / format of the typing test. Is it just words or a combination of words and numbers. How long does the typing test run for?
Thank you all in advance, all the best 😊

Hey i actually have an assessment this weekend at Hendon, I know this thread is old but I thought id ask to see if anyone was still here and had any advice?

Hi all,

So my vetting was finally cleared last week as well as references etc. The only thing I’m waiting for now is medicals- I had to provide more details for some health stuff. Once that’s sorted (hopefully soon) is there a potential I could be starting around June/july ?

Hey! Exciting times. How long was your vetting? When did your process start? I’m in vetting now and they are also looking into more medical details.

I am 4 weeks now from the first interview where it all started!

I submitted the vetting form ending of Jan and I got the email that it was cleared last week. I submitted my initial application in December, had my interview and medicals in Jan.
