Hi there
First of all, well done for getting so many amazing offers!

Choosing which university and course is best for you is a highly personal decision, and has so many factors, but I’ll speak from the perspective of a current Cranfield student.

When looking at the course content, one may suit your particular interests or career aspirations better than another. Do you have any specific areas you wish to focus on, or topics you think would benefit your career most?

Above is the link to the course page on the Cranfield website, where you can find details of the taught modules. These are kept up to date on the latest techniques and developments, to ensure our graduates are career-ready and highly employable.
You can also apply this knowledge in your individual project. These projects can be based on a real business, allowing you to really experience what that role would be like, and demonstrate to future employers your skills are applicable and valuable.
It’s no surprise Cranfield is ranked second in the UK for graduate employment (DLHE longitudinal survey, 2017).

Speaking of rankings, this is also a factor many people consider when choosing which course to apply for, as ranking and reputation can give you an advantage in getting interviews and jobs with some employers.
Cranfield School of Management consistently performs well in international business rankings. We are top 10 in the UK and 34th in Europe in the Financial Times European Business School 2021 Rankings.

As well as your CV having just your degree, you will also have access to many opportunities to add other experiences. These extracurricular events and initiatives include Cranfield Venture Programme, Entrepreneurship Speaker Series talks led by the Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship and Start-up Weekends.
Cranfield also typically holds an annual competition in collaboration with Unilever, where a business challenge is posed to groups of students who work to find an innovative solution. Read about this year’s competition here:

You can also improve your CV, interview skills, and other factors in employability with the career develipment service. Check out what they can do to help here:

You can also speak to current students, either from our school of management, from a particular course, or from a similar culture to you, through our Unibuddy chat. Find it here:

There you can get many opinions on life at Cranfield, studying here, and anything else!

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask them below or on our TSR forum here:

Hope this helps!

Hi there!

To introduce myself I’m Joao. In my final year studying BSc Economics at Surrey University, I am working as a Campus Ambassador for JP Morgan. I recently finished my one-year industrial placement as an Economist for the British Government’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). I also had the opportunity to work as a Private Secretary to the Minister of Environment and Biosecurity. It's great to hear you have applied to Surrey and received an offer. If you have any questions about Surrey or uni life, please ask, as I am here to help you out.

Entrepreneurship and innovation management are essential for growth strategies in a world faced with technological disruption. This course will prepare you for these challenges and opportunities whether in a large organisation, emerging-growth company or start-up. We combine an academic foundation with practical experience to reinforce your skills. This may include a crowdfunding campaign or project with companies in the SETSquared Partnership - Surrey, ranked the number one university business incubator worldwide by UBI Global.

You can also tailor your learning through modules and final projects while benefitting from mentoring expertise to help you fulfil your career aspirations. As a result, we’re ranked in the top 10 for business and economics in the UK by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020.
