Legal question

My friend did something stupid( I don’t mean me when I say friend). He got into a fight with someone in insta. The guy he was Arguing with was vile and came off Threatening. He said a lot of stuff but that’s no lt why I’m here. My friend in a desperate act to get rid of him. Left a reply comment before blocking him. Telling everyone who read it that he had asked for 18 plus pics (Those words) before blocking. He didn’t report it or anything. Through another person we saw that the guy he had blocked. Had left another comment stating he was gonna report him to the policie. My friend is a good egg even this was wrong and was really upset by what the guy was saying. It started off as a debate but then all the guy would that he was Messed up and other Foul remakes about his family. The guy also threatens people online with us seeing him before on other posts. Could somebody plz help. He accept that it is wrong. Just wanna know what he facing here.

yes unfortunately, but the way he phased it was light hearted and not in a serious way, which dose not really make a difference

thank you thank you thank you. my friend is so grateful. my friend never called him a peadophile , my bad, since he never mentioned he was a child only that he wanted "18 plus pics" . still defamation Im pretty sure and still is child porn in away if you add it all up. but no one really seen it or hated the guy. and it would take months to even get details from insta and the guy isn't petty enough. so my guess extremely probably not gonna happen. thanks again I owe you.
