Whoops.

Never mind then...
This truly sickened me.Does anyone think the music (Marilyn Manson etc) may be to blame? The media says yes, sometimes I'm not sure myself.

I think it could possibly indulge those sort of fantasies. But if he didn't find music to indulge them, he'd look elsewhere - it's just that music is more accessible I suppose.

Whether he did it or not he's still not right in the head, he claimed he was smoking 600 joints a day. To start with how can someone afford that, and secondly surely there aren't enough hours in the day for it!!

Nah I wouldnt say that. That would suggest all goths are screwed in the head( most of them are 13 year old pansies.) I think he was just a weirdo and wanted to act and have a n image that would shock people.

So is living life in a prison, sheltered accomodation with meals on the table every day, possibly with your own posh 'hotel room like' cell.

i didint mean it as in keep him alive and looked after well. he should be locked away and given very little to live on, to TV, radio etc. but then its probably illegal to do that kinda thing

Once again the media is quick to blame rock music lyrics or violent games for the action of these troubled teen. It was the same with the game 'Manhunt', even the government wanted to ban such games and they took it of the shelves. Blaming games and music is so easy and it diverts people attention from the real problem that we live in a society where parents don't spend enough time with their children.
I think that the music he liked would have no effect on normal, sane people but I have a small suspicion that maybe artists like Marilyn Manson could set something off in people, like Luke Mitchell, who aren't right in the head in the first place....
Apparently Manson used images of the 'Black Dahlia' murder of a Hollywood actress, which was similar to that of Jodi Jones
But who knows?!

I don't think people realise how nasty prison can be - the people in prison aren't your normal nice people. They are criminals and weirdos, often with a bad education and sometimes with mental health problems. Not the sort of people you want to spend many years in the company of!

exactly...no system in the UK would be like that...and he'll likely get out in about 10 years anyway.

best to just end him at source

here's some controversy for you:

I think convicted killers should be used for drug testing and disease research ...stuff like that. We could liberate the monkeys and use the real deal.

yea. test on worthless scum. at least the results will relate better to what wil happen to humans
