Does anyone know if only single celled organisms are in the protoctista kingdom?

I don't think so. I think seaweed is a member of that kingdom...

The protoctista kingdom really contains anything that doesn't fit into the other Kingdoms.
I normally work all the others out on the classification questions and whatever is left belongs in the protoctista group
