KCL anyone? (IB-wise)

Hey,
I was just wondering if those of you out there who have been accepted by KCL could help me out. I really want to go to KCL, but I've heard that even with predicted grades higher than the requirement, you still have a serious chance of rejection. :frown:

Any who...can you tell me what you got as a predicted IB score overall?
(any other advice is much appreciated)

Btw, I'm an international student and I want to do Law.

I'm a KCL law fresher this year.

When I was applying, the typical offer was 38 points [no specific HL grades which is great!] and when i applied i was predicted 38 points and that's the offer they gave me.

What are you predicted? Normally, I would've said if you're not predicted their typical offer, then your chances of an offer are low, but then a fellor KCL lawyer friend was predicted 35 when she applied to KCL and still got offered a place for 38 points! I'd say just try! :smile:

I'm predicted somewhere between 43 and 45, not sure though. Applied this year for history, and got an offer (without interview, but I guess that's due to the fact that I study outside UK) of 38 points and 6, 6, 6 at hl. I think you should give it a shot, seems that it actually matters more whether you show interest in the subject you are applying or not, than how high you are predicted in some cases.

I'm predicted 42 and my offer is 34 with 6 for French A2 and 6 for Spanish B; I applied for French and Hispanic Studies.

im predicted 38, still have had no reply though!
I'm quite scared they wont offer me a place,especially since ive wanted to go to Kings for years now!

I think they may consider you if you had extreme circumstances and were only just below 38.

I know of someone in my year who got 36 [but was predicted much higher] due to illness and obv she is at KCL now so..

not true. I personally know two people who entered law school with 37 :smile:

Hi I was wondering if you guys could help me out.. I want to apply for Psychology BSc (HONS). The typical offer at King's College London is 35, however I am only predicted a 34 and I wanted to know if I have a chance of getting an offer :/
