Neuroscience/Biomed

I'm writing my personal statement and am struggling with the fact that I'm going to be applying to different courses for uni. Not all schools offer just neuroscience so I would have to apply to their broader biological degrees that then allow me to specialise in neuroscience. I am just stuck on what to write in my personal statement. Do I talk about biology or neuroscience or both?
I think its best you talk about the broader topic in general (biology) and relate it back to the niche which you would like to find yourself specialising in (neuroscience).
simplified example: biological sciences interest me for blah blah blah reasons, i would like to gain a sufficient background in human biology in order to integrate my knowledge with that of fields i would like to pursue later on in my career, more specifically neurobiology and neuroscience itself.

(kind of a rough sketch of how i would put it)
Neuro is common enough that you can apply for all 5 of your choices, so I think a bio course will not want to read a PS that focuses on neuroscience or a neuro course will not want to read a PS that talks about more general biology. You should choose one and focus on that. Your other option is to ask if unis will accept an additional PS
