'first-class degree in a subject with a substantial computing component'

Required for a masters in computing at imperial. What subjects are included? Is maths one of those?

Thanks
That would depend on whether the maths degree included substantial number of modules on computing topics.

Why don’t you ring up imperial and ask them.
It won't be subjects which are included as such, it will be topic choices. If you're doing a maths degree and you've chosen options on, I dunno, numerical analysis, logic, discrete maths, and your dissertation involves programming, your subject probably had a substantial computing component. If your options were all based around calculus, and your dissertation is on number theory, and you've barely touched a computer except to do a bit of plotting with Excel, then it probably didn't.

(I'm not a mathematician. If actually number theory involves loads of computing, replace with an area of maths which doesn't - it's just an example.)

Like PQ said, if your course doesn't have "and computing" or similar in the title, probably best to check that your modules will be computational enough.
