Hi @Aesopzai :hi:

We have a UniJob scheme, which offers students part time jobs during their studies. These jobs are normally based within the University, so they're flexible enough to help you to prioritise your studies. Our Careers team are on hand to help you with advise and guidance to gain a job too. You can contact our Careers and Employability team to find out more information, their email address is [email protected].

I hope this helps!

Alex

(outside of the university), yes, there are loads of part time jobs available in Chester - especially in retail and hospitality. The same will be applicable to Belfast, Newcastle and Salford.

Personally I want to go to northumbria Newcastle but quite a few people say that Newcastle has limited part time jobs opportunities and northumbria as a uni is also not that much good.. what do u say?

Northumbria is a generally lower ranked uni, as is Chester. I have no idea what they're like for teaching business. I also have no idea how competative part time jobs are in Newcastle as I don't live there.

Hi Aesopzai!

Newcastle is full of restaurants, shops, cafes and other amenities, meaning there are lots of part-time jobs available. Northumbria University also has a great careers service which helps students find part-time jobs, placements and graduate jobs. They provide specialist careers guidance, employability advice and careers clinic appointments.
