Almost no chance of council indulging you to the point of speaking to other residents.
We had to campaign for years to get a consultation on introducing a residents parking scheme. It was hard work but our situation was far worse than just struggling to find a space - it was referred to as Carmaggedon. 2 years on I am still so happy we got it in place.

I think they're complaining that residents have more than one car and want to cause trouble for them. They've posted this before. .
