Edexcel IGCSE English Language Anthology

Hi!
I was wondering whether anyone knew what Edexcel IGCSE English Language anthology pieces were used in 2020, 2021 and 2022. I would really like to try get a better idea of what pieces may or may not be used on the 18th this month.

the 3 anthology texts that have not been used are; chinese cinderella, a passage to africa and a game of polo with a headless goat.

however there have been repeates of texts before so i would recommend revising the texts that came up in the 2019 exams; H is for hawk and the explorers daughter.

i am unsure about poetry and prose as i did those texts for coursework.

Is this just a prediction based on the past texts that have come up?

Is the regional paper 'R' for short? If so, the predictions seem to be The Explorer's Daughter (paper 1R) and The Bright Lights of Sarajevo (paper 2R)

yes regional is R for short. How would it be explorers daughter for June 2022 if it just came up in the January regional paper. Isn't it more likely to be something like young and dyslexic or between a rock and a hard place?

Do you know if the R paper uses a different text than the non R igcse?

yea the R text is always different to the non R so that there is no cheating since they are sat at different times

Is it unlikely that they'd repeat a text from exactly a year before?

The regional papers are for people doing their GCSEs in other countries. They have different ones because of the time difference so this reduces the chance of cheating
