Hi! So I was an international applicant for the fashion and textiles foundation at CSM and recently I got an offer for the diagnostic foundation instead. I'm really excited to just be accepted to CSM but I am a bit worried about my diagnostic offer since I've heard some pretty rough reviews about it. Could anyone share their experiences of diagnostic?
I really want to get into the Womenswear or the Fashion Design and Marketing BA at CSM, so does anyone know if doing Diagnostic would prepare me enough to apply to those programs or if tutors favour the portfolios of Fashion and Textile foundation students more or anything like that? It's just that I've already been accepted into fashion design at Parsons Paris and it seems a little safer to do that instead.
Also, is emailing CSM to ask why I was put in diagnostic instead of fashion and textiles a good idea?
