UCL Economics and statistics..Is this a bad course?

I just received an unconditional offer from this. I wonder why it gives that to me in such an early stage.. Is this a bad course actually? :confused:

i doubt it i mean pretty much any economics course is well respected and since its at ucl its even better! =] as long as you like statistics or have some experience with it then u should be ok
im going for the economics and geography course but those bloody pple at my college havnt sent mine off yet...its rly annoying seeing or hearing loads of pple around you getting offers and stuff =/
well done on that unconditional though =] i would have thought they would be pretty rare!

u should not be worried as I am taking a gap year and I got 3A1B in GCE AL last year, and the past conditional offer of this course is just 1A2B.. But still, it seems too early for them to give me this offer. So this makes me wonder whether this course is bad or not. :frown:

Don't be silly - he was joking. Why are you so obsessed with the timing of your application and offers? Large numbers of people will have received offers from top universities by now, as well as less good ones. It is no indication of the quality of the course at all. You have applied early, UCL has judged that you are a good applicant, it has made an offer; end of story.

Mate all I'm gonna say is you've done amazingly well to have the security n knowledge you have a definate place at one of the best unis for econ, for a degree with econ. Be freakin happy, or i'll beat the sadness out of you. :P (It's a damn good course imo, im applyin for stats econ and finanace)

am i right in thinking that unconditional means that whatever grade you get you're in? or is there still a requirement for you to get a certain grade?
