Physyics: Heat emission: black + dull vs white + shiny

If a metal is black and dull, that means it takes in heat better, but does that also mean it loses heat faster?

Yeah basically emissivity (the rate at which a surface radiates energy) is the same as absorptivity (the rate at which a surface absorbs radiation)
