forgot to write the question number for the critical essay

I sat my higher English exam paper and I forgot to write the question number which I answered. I did write the question in my introduction and stated it in each paragraph. Does anyone know if this will impact my results?

I always got told that if you write the wrong number, markers will mark it against whatever number you wrote. So I’m not sure what will happen if you don’t write a number.

I can't exactly remember the question but I think you're right it was something about a character not always being able to fit into their surroundings or setting or society something similar to that. I think you've done it right don't worry.

I just remember seeing the word excluded and i have no idea if it was two separate things to answer, cos some questions are like a pessimistic OR inspiring message so you can only answer one, so i can’t remember if it was doesn’t fit in OR excluded. They penalise quite a lot for messing that sort of thing up i think.

I think the question said a character not being able to fit into their surroundings and/or society so I don't think you'll get penalised because it said and/or so you could just speak about their surroundings or both surroundings and society
