A dawn redwood - a tree with a story
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawn_redwood I've got one (only 2m tall atm) in my back garden...it turns a beautiful copper colour in the autumn and then regrows it's bright green leaves in the spring

Probably a Horse Chestnut so I can hit people on the head with my conkers (at bit like the apple trees in the Wizard of Oz)

me too......its pretty... although ours is surrounded by dogwood (cant remember the real name) and the contrast looks really stunning

Trees rock :cool: They're just so peaceful, and they provide us with plenty of oxygen for us to breathe, omg their benefits would take ages for me to type. Well I'm gonna do some tree planting I think this weekend, if I get time, I feel inspired now.
