I'm just looking for a little consolidation as I have no offers yet.. who else is in the same boat, and where did you apply?

    I applied for maths at:

    Oxford
    Imperial
    Warwick
    Kings
    LSE

And have no offers, although I got emails acknowledging receipt of my application.

I was in the same position until yesterday - I found out at about midnight that I'd got an offer from Exeter. But I know exactly how you feel. Just hang in there, I know the waiting can be awful.

Don't worry about that. A girl from my school, who sent her application off two days after me for the same course at Exeter, with slightly lower grades than me, got her Exeter offer about three weeks before I got mine. It doesn't necessarily mean anything.

How long did it take for you to get your offer from Exeter?! I'm waiting on them and getting very nervous as I really want to go there!

Definitely, I wouldn't worry yet by any means! I'm not sure about LSE and Imperial, but Warwick are known for being veeeery slow, and King's are variable, but erring more towards slowness. :p: Oxford are the only university on your list which follow a strict timetable (i.e. they'll have to notify you as to whether or not you've got an interview by late November generally, as the interviews themselves are in early December).

I sent my application on the 13th and I got my offer yesterday, the 7th, so that's.... what, nearly a month? Not actually that speedy, but much better than the others!

    Seriously, don't worry about it.
It's early days yet. I don't think I received any offers til the end of November, when I applied 3 years ago. I then heard back from most of them within the space of a few weeks (late November/early December), with one not replying til about February...

I sent my application a month and a half ago. Nothing yet.
    Oxford
    LSE
    Warwick
    Bristol
    York
I am not surprised by the lack of offers from rest, but York tend to send offers quite early, don't they?

Its annoying how my "rival" has gotten an offer from bath, although he is deferring a year....

Is it normal to get offers this time of year? Not say March-time??
