Hey just wondering has anyone got an offer from QMU in Edinburgh, Glasgow Caledonian or UWIC?
I've applied for Dietetics in all 3, received acknowledgement from Glasgow and UWIC, nothing from QMU & that's my first choice!
Applied the 9th January, starting to freak out!!!

hi, i applied on 9th of jan... not heard anything as yet from anyone either.

one of my choices was edinburgh but for sociology/anthro, so different department... i got an acknowledgement letter though, so maybe give them a call?

I realise this thread is a bit old, but I'm in the same boat!

All my friends are slowly getting their conditionals/unconditionals in... I'm happy for them, certainly, but what would I do if I don't get any offers?

Don't think I could face a year of working full-time at McD's while everyone was at university...

does anyone know what happens to people who don't recieve nothing?!
do you get put on a waiting list or something..or will they declare 'unsuccessful application'? I wonder what theyre doing with our applications, got them on the side (the might be applicants)...

like i said, a big horrible waiting game:o:

well i see two main reasons:
    i. some universities wait until after the deadline
ii. we do not have extraordinary applications and so they are waiting to judge all the others
