The advanced info has got both Socialism and Conservatism, do you think its best to just revise one of these in depth to free up more time for revision elsewhere? My politics teacher says that they could ask two questions on one ideology but I've looked at past papers and they have never done this. Any advice would be appreciated.

my teacher reckons they will have to put both on just because they put it on the advance info- but at the same time he reckons revising both incase on of the questions is so much harder/easier.

The first exam in 2019 did actually have two conservatism questions on it but they changed it on the website cause i think they got so many complaints about how unfair it was .

i dont think so. edexcel has been pretty good with the advance info based off whats happened so far with the AS exams in my school (the year 12s said that it stuck mostly to the advance info and ive been reading around tsr so i hope it stands true on wednesday) i think itll be one q socialism and one q conservatism. whats the point in them putting socialism on the advance info if theyre not gonna make a question on it

same i hope they ask about something related to the economy loooool but im revising only socialism but in depth and making essays plans for each core principle/main area aka state/economy/human nature/society

socialism and the economy *chef's kiss* best question you could get asked. My teacher said you didnt have to make separate essay questions on collectivism etc. since exams can't be too hard given that we're the first group to sit them since covid

Socialism and the economy is the easiest question you could possibly get. I hope that's the question.

if they aren't as nice as economics I will cry. I want to see a question on small parties having an influence and conservtism economy and that would be lovely. but the fact that I haven't done a source question in so long scares me.

which source question did you do? I hated the knowledge questions more than the source

the "pick and mix" one, was honestly terrible, left it to last and had around 25min to read + understand the source and write it.. wbu? how did you find it?

oh god that was an awful source question. I did the FPTP and proportional representation one because my teacher had given us an essay plan for it and i sort of adapted it to the source question. It was okay but im pretty sure i wrote Johnson had a majority of 82 when i think its 48. The knowledge on the other hand was a disaster. I did the pressure groups and media one and just panicked.
