I'm looking to go Uni of Reading however accommodation is very pricey and my maintenance loan couldn't possibly cover the cost - £170 a week for just a room is tooo much for me. I was thinking of looking off campus - does anyone happen to have any idea on how i's like/where to look for it? I haven't found a lot but I've just been looking on FB Marketplace and SpareRoom - dk if there are other alternatives to those...

My next best alternative is house sharing with a close friend who works in London, but commuting is long - I've heard there aren't many parking options for students unless they require special access... any thoughts on this?
