Loads of hugs! :jumphug: And eeeeeeeeeeeek for those potholes, that's terrible that there are so many :headfire:

I'm afraid many roads have them at the moment.

It sounds like you have a brilliant driving instructor. :yep:

Have you had your driving test now? Sorry I'm very behind. :lol:

They are much better than the other one I had :yep:
I wish it was over, it is in less than 10 days away :bricks: :auto:

Try to relax - pretend the examiner is your instructor. Good luck!

I think my driving is getting worse. :frown:

I can't reverse in a straight line against the curb. You know the 'pull up to the right and reverse two car lengths?' I just don't know how to do it. I either go too far out or too close to the curb. Perhaps watching a few videos and reading articles might help?

I also haven't mastered the steering technique. I'm still doing the whole crossing arms thing and on the tight bends I slightly lose control.

Overall rating for the lesson: 😞

I've been there, it gets better though! You got this :hugs:

Driving is improving significantly, and my instructor has noticed the progress as well. I am now confident with general road driving, can complete most parking styles successfully and tackle roundabouts. Parallel parking is still an area I need to strengthen, so I plan to spend some time reading on that further.

I also tend to hesitate when turning into side roads, often stopping first. This is something I need to work on by instead slowing down and completing the turn more smoothly without stopping unnecessarily.

That's great to hear. With parallel parking the secret is to find the point where you need to start turning the wheel.

Get your instructor to help you find that :smile:

Glad both you and your instructor are noticing your progress :woo:
@5hyl33n

I am here to wish you the best of luck to acquire your driving license! I am back now and then to read about your progress.

Good luck with the license! One of these days I'll get one, finally wouldn't be dependent on trains and buses and taxis for hikes!
