Met police day 1 assessment results 2022

On the day 2 assessment guidelines it says if your on the dc route we don’t do the role play and you do the specific dc assessment separately. It says that you do that before your day 2 but I haven’t received anything in regards to booking that unless they just assume that’s the way it will fall in terms of doing it. I’ve booked mine for the 20th July now was originally for 12th July but thinking to get as much fitness in before then

I did my day 2 last week and there’s no results I guess. My portal says thank you for attending day 2. Not sure what happens next. So far it’s remains same on portal.

Oh ok I thought they would tell you if you passed the running bit straight away I assume you would know if you passed or not as long as you can make it to end of test

For the social media question on the vetting questions what kind of information does it want. I don’t use Facebook instagram etc only tiktok so not sure if I need to write that down

Nothing yet, portal is same. They said it takes more than 2 weeks. Only completed vetting and couple of forms was on portal.

Had my results last night after about 10 days. Yes I passed and there’s a conditional offer subject to vetting and reference check.

Congrats on passing your day 1 assessment, the results for day 2 assessment varies, if you fail the role play exercises then they terminate your application and you’ll be informed on the same day later on after you’ve attended your assessment check. However, it’s extremely hard to fail these roleplay exercises, just be yourself and don’t lack confidence when dealing with the exercise.

Once you pass the assessment, you’ll be waiting about 2-6 weeks max in total to receive your medical, biometric, and dna results. Fitness test results would be given on the same day of completing the test.

Once you’ve attended your day 2 assessment, the vetting internal team would review your vetting application. This could take anywhere from days, to weeks, to months. This is different for everyone tbh. The internal team has to review and then dispatch your vetting application to the external team, only once the external team has completed their previous batch of vetting applications.

Once the external team has your vetting application, they could take from as little as 2 weeks, to as the max but not limited to 12 weeks, to pass your vetting application.

Tbh at the vetting stage, it’s all just waiting. As long as you answer correctly and have no bad history or record, you should not need to stress.

Once you’ve passed the vetting, you’ll get a call regarding a start date which you have the choice to chose. Most of the times they give you an option of 3 start date intakes.

(Also, once you have passed your day 2, your portal should have updated to the conditional offer page subject to passing all pre employment checks including vetting. There is no need to stress at this stage as all it is, is just waiting.)

I’m on the dc route and I was reading the info they sent for day 2 and it says if your on the detective constable route then you don’t do the role play. Not sure how accurate the info is but it’s in the information document they sent in regards to the layout of day 2 so I’m assuming I won’t take part in it but I do know if don’t pass the dc bolt on assessment they do offer the pc route.

Ah yes. For the dc route you don’t partake in a roleplay exercise. I think it’s just medical and fitness.

Oh ok thanks thought as much. I’m booked for day 2 in 3 weeks so thinking it should be straight forward. On the info pack also says we should do the dc bolt on before our day 2 but haven’t heard anything I’m guessing whoever wrote it thought it would pan out like but could take place in any order

Yeah usually the bolt assessment is done before the day 2. However don’t stress too much on the bolt assessment - worst scenario is if you fail the bolt assessment you’ll be offered to transfer to pc instead of dc and continue on with the process.
