This thread is so true, private student accommodation is a popular choice and its worth exploring if this is the right option for you. Things to look for include:

•

Distance to the university

•

Facilities (i.e. does it come with value-added extras like a gym, study space etc)

•

Events (i.e. does the accommodation have a packed events calendar to help you socialise with fellow residents)

•

Are all bills included?

•

What's the cancellation policy like?

There are lots of different private accommodation options in Sheffield, it depends on your price range as to what you may go for. Have you booked anything yet or are you still looking? If you're looking I'm happy to recommend some options that friends have tried.
